Discord has launched a new feature called "Inline Replies" for desktop and mobile users to address this issue.
With the new reply feature, users can reply to the message by hovering the mouse over the desktop or long-pressing Discord on the mobile phone by selecting the "Reply" option and replying to the original message after the tweet above. Will appear at the top.
